Where to download Kanye West Donda album Finally, Kanye West has released his new studio album Donda. The record arrived well after the end of the rapper’s third listening party, a Chicago event that controversially featured appearances from Marilyn Manson and DaBaby, who also rapped on a track that previously had a guest verse from JAY-Z. The song is called “Jail,” and the album version features the original JAY-Z verse rather than DaBaby’s. Shortly ahead of Donda’s release however, West posted a pair of photos on Instagram showing text threads in which it is revealed that DaBaby’s manager was not clearing the Charlotte rapper’s verse for “Jail.” Spotify’s Donda stream lists a song titled “Jail pt 2” that is currently unavailable. The song was briefly available on YouTube, too, and featured DaBaby, Marilyn Manson, and others.

On July 19, 2021, it was reported that West will host a listening party for the album at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on July 22, 2021, dubbed "Kanye West Presents: A Donda Listening Event." Following the listening party, West moved inside one of the stadium's locker rooms and converted it into a recording studio with Mike Dean to finish the recording and mixing.
A day before the listening session, videos and images on social media revealed featured musicians Playboi Carti and 2 Chainz practicing vocals in the locker room. Jay-Z is also said to have taped his verse just four hours before to the listening party.
West shared a 39-second sample of a single called "Believe What I Say" on his Twitter account on September 26. On October 16, West released a song named "Nah Nah Nah," which he dubbed the theme song for his presidential campaign. West released a remix of "Nah Nah Nah" with rappers DaBaby and 2 Chainz on November 13; the verses were edited, though.
In an interview with VladTV on March 7, 2021, Cyhi the Prynce said that West has resumed production on his forthcoming album despite his divorce from Kim Kardashian. On Instagram on July 17, Consequence shared a video of West in the studio with Tyler, the Creator. The post's description hinted at an album release in late 2021.
Pusha T, an American rapper and West's buddy, revealed on Instagram on July 19, 2021 that West will host a listening session for the album on July 22 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
The album was then announced to be released early on August 6, 2021, via a Beats by Dre advertisement and on West's Apple Music livestream.
